🛰️ About the Exercise
Join Space ISAC for a dynamic, scenario-driven Tabletop Exercise (TTX) examining real-world threats to space systems architecture across all segments — from ground infrastructure to on-orbit assets. Participants will work through complex security situations that challenge detection, operational decision-making, and cross-sector coordination under pressure.
Through facilitated discussion, commercial operators, government stakeholders, and space and cybersecurity leaders will explore information sharing, response strategies, and architectural resilience — strengthening collective preparedness across the global space enterprise.
About Space ISAC
The Space Information Sharing and Analysis Center (Space ISAC) is the only all-threats security information source for the global space community. Space ISAC facilitates collaboration and information sharing to enhance the protection and resilience of the space sector against cyber and other threats. As a trusted hub for the global space community, Space ISAC works with government, commercial, and international partners to advance space security at every level.
🎟️ Registration & Pricing
The Space ISAC TTX is an add-on workshop to CyberSat 2026 registration. A separate fee applies to participate. Register early to lock in the lower rate.
A valid CyberSat 2026 registration is required to add the TTX. Select the TTX add-on during registration at accessintel.swoogo.com/cybersat26.
🎯 Exercise Objectives
The Space ISAC TTX is designed to address five core objectives, each targeting a critical dimension of space system security and resilience:
-
1
Evaluate Detection and Response Across Space System Architecture
- Examine how organizations identify and attribute interference, spoofing, cyber compromise, and launch anomalies.
- Assess visibility across space, ground, and user segments during incidents or attacks.
-
2
Strengthen Cross-Sector Coordination and Information Sharing
- Explore how commercial operators, government agencies, and international partners share actionable information in real time.
- Identify friction points in reporting, classification, legal authorities, and public communication.
-
3
Test Decision-Making Under Escalating Conditions
- Evaluate decision-making processes during uncertain and potentially hostile events.
- Examine thresholds for public disclosure, regulatory reporting, mission continuation, and coordinated response.
-
4
Identify Architectural and Operational Resilience Gaps
- Highlight dependencies on GPS and other critical space services.
- Surface potential single points of failure across ground infrastructure, command and control, and launch operations.
- Identify opportunities to build redundancy, segmentation, and defensive depth into space systems architecture.
-
5
Advance Collective Preparedness and Best Practices
- Capture lessons learned to inform Space ISAC community guidance, industry standards, and government collaboration efforts.
- Reinforce trusted relationships across the global space and cybersecurity community.
👥 Who Should Participate
The TTX is designed for senior practitioners and decision-makers across the space and cybersecurity community. Participants do not need prior tabletop experience — only a commitment to collaborative problem-solving under realistic conditions.
