Joseph Szczerba is currently a Section Chief in the FBI Cyber Division leading over 100 personnel responsible for intelligence analysis and program management.

Previously, he was Assistant Section Chief for cybercrime and critical infrastructure/emerging technology cyber threat analysis. He has worked in the FBI Counterterrorism Division, the Directorate of Intelligence, and the Charlotte Field Office before coming to Cyber Division in early 2021.

Joe received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Buffalo and is admitted to the bar in the District of Columbia. He completed his bachelor’s degree at St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY and holds multiple certifications including CISM, CISSP, GISP, GPEN, GCIH, and CIPP/US.
