WHY ATTEND

The CyberSat events are dedicated to fostering the necessary discussions to understand current threat vectors in the satellite industry and develop solutions to those threats. The conversation begins in May of 2021 with a digital event bringing together hundreds of security professionals, regardless of their location, and culminates in October with the in-person event CyberSatGov, catering towards the government, military, satellite and space communities.

Cyberattacks, threat vectors and bad actors never stop trying to find ways to exploit weaknesses in communications and supply chain systems that will cause disruption at the least and destruction at the worst. CyberSat helps the community tackle these challenges through a three-pronged approach:

Classified Program – we take a look at the risks facing the satellite supply chain in a classified setting where more detailed information and security updates can be shared. Each event is equipped with a one-day classified program to keep you in the know.

Digital Event in May – the conversation starts during CyberSatDigital, where hundreds of cybersecurity professionals will convene to explore the current threat environment. We’re bringing the content and the experts to you through a digital event and platform, giving you a comprehensive approach to cybersecurity challenges.

In-person Event in October – returning to the Hyatt Regency Reston in October, CyberSatGov is the only satellite security event that successfully fuses satellite, space, cybersecurity and government to educate on threat vectors and deliver solutions to thwart next-generation attacks. CyberSatGov welcomes industry experts, satellite service providers, C-suite executives, innovators and engineers, cybersecurity experts, and the DoD to continue discussions from CyberSatDigital.
