π‘ Tips for a Successful Visa Interview
Request your letter of invitation and schedule your embassy appointment as early as possible. Wait times in many countries can be several weeks or more, especially during peak travel periods.
-
1Request a letter of invitation from CyberSat as early as possible. The sooner you request your letter, the better, as it may take additional time to obtain a visitor visa. Email klongshore@accessintel.com to request yours.
-
2Schedule your embassy appointment as soon as you receive your letter. Make your appointment early, as wait times can be long in some countries. Have your letter of invitation ready for your interview.
-
3Verify fees and requirements. Review visa fees and accepted payment methods at the embassy or consulate. The website also contains photo and documentation requirements.
-
4Show proof of “strong ties” to your country of residence. Consular officers look for evidence you will return home — such as proof of employment, business ownership, or family relationships.
-
5If you have previously traveled to the U.S., provide documentation showing you returned home on time. Airline ticket stubs, boarding passes, or conference attendance materials serve as supporting evidence.
-
6Include any materials CyberSat has sent you with your application. Your letter of invitation and registration confirmation can strengthen your case.
-
7Present your complete trip itinerary with your application. Include any plans to visit countries other than the United States at the time you apply.
